THANKS FOR HELPING US HONOR OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEES!

Did you know that when you submit a comment card recognizing a Wilderness employee or a manager for a job well done that it really does make a difference? The positive comments are compiled monthly, and together with our directors’ input, two employees are honored. Then on a quarterly basis, the resort also honors the two best employees and two best managers at the resort. Finally, once a year we selected the “Employee of the Year” and “Manager of the Year” for having the ultimate “can-do-it” attitude and for exceeding guest expectations.

The 2013 “Guide of the Year” was Angie, who has been with the resort since 2010.  According to her supervisors “Angie is a real asset to the department. She demonstrates a level of loyalty, commitment, and dedication to the Wilderness that is second to none. She is always willing to go above and beyond whenever the need arises.”

The resort’s 2013 “Manager of the Year” was Jonanthan. He has been with the resort since 2009 and according to his director, “Jonathan’s dedication to the resort can be seen daily through the tireless effort he puts forth. He is also a tremendous customer service provider willing to go the extra mile for any guest. Finally, he is a true team player and will do whatever is needed to see that our goals are reached.”

We also name one employee a “S.T.A.R.S. (Striving to Achieve Remarkable Service) Employee of the Year” and one manager a “S.T.A.R.S. Manager of the Year” for providing exceptional customer service.

The 2013 “S.T.A.R.S. Customer Service Employee of the Year” was Kyle. He joined the Wilderness team in 2012. According to his supervisors, “Kyle is an outgoing and extraordinary member of our team who consistently provides superior service to the guests he encounters at the resort. He’s routinely on guest comment cards with nothing but heaps of praise for the care and consideration he gives our guests.”

Cyndi was named the resort’s 2013 “S.T.A.R.S. Customer Service Manager of the Year”. She has been with the resort since January 2004, and according to her director, “Cyndi plays an integral part in the day to day operations at the Wilderness. Her extensive knowledge of the resort, dependability, loyalty, willingness to always go the extra mile and desire to keep learning are truly commendable. Cyndi genuinely believes that resort-wide teamwork and great customer service are the keys to our success.”

We’d like to congratulations all of these wonderful employees and express our sincere thanks for a job well done!
